I'm 25. I'm British. Creative Writing student. Web Administrator. Working on a book for the Cultural Olympiad for the 2012 Olympics. Family is split between England's West Country & Northern Ireland. Four cats. Living with GAD. Learning to cook so family recipes don't get lost. Loves a bargain. Loves 60's and 70's music. Makes inappropriate typo's. Has parents that walked right out of a sitcom. Doesn't always understand Americanisms. Loves old TV shows. Currently working on a modernist Arthurian tale with Katy focussing on espionage, intrigue and magic. I chose the journal name as when I made my first journal, I was listening to Alice Cooper "Poison" and was struck by the lyrics. Fandoms!

My three biggest fandoms are Comics (usually DC but hang in there Marvel, I'm getting there), Star Wars (Clone Wars included!) and Harry Potter. I've been involved with fandom for around a decade now in one or another and my fandoms (even if I'm usually behind on them) now include, but are not limited to: Alias, Being Human, Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Angel: the Series, Castle, Charmed, Chuck, Doctor Who, DCAU, Firefly, Game of Thrones, Good Omens, How I Met Your Mother, Life On Mars, Lord of the Rings, Luther, Merlin, Misfits, Queer As Folk, Roswell, Sherlock Holmes, Supernatural, Stargate (SG-1 & Atlantis), The Big Bang Theory, The Borgias, The Vampire Chronicles, Veronica Mars and Wonderfalls.

I read a lot of fic, consume meta with abandon and role play. I occasionally make icons and graphics, as well doing reviews when asked. I'm not a huge shipper as a rule because I prefer plot, but will read most things if the author can make them believable. I love family and friendship dynamics, so genfic is my favourite genre. Easiest way to hook me into a fandom is to point out some awesome or awesomely dysfunctional family dynamics.

CDJ & Icons!

I've been rping for about eight years, mostly in the Harry Potter fandom. I tend to take large breaks between games, to regroup. My particular fascination is usually with the Black family, who will always have a special place in my heart as my two longest played characters are Sirius and Andromeda.
